You Inspire Me Monday

Early in January I started a new Monday feature to introduce you to bloggers who inspire me, who make me laugh, who amaze me with their creativity, who have become friends through this wonderful world of blogging......

I put the series on hold after my surgery, but I am so happy to be starting it up again today. 

 I know most of you may not have met Katie at Preppy Empty Nester but you really must go visit.

Although she appears to be shy and demure, you will soon find that she has a strong wit as she shares her life in Texas with her husband  (who is an ex professional chef and cooks for her. SIGH!!!) her rescue dog 


and shares her antics with her "sista". How cute were they?
I love her shopping excursions


that she shares her messy bathroom with us (much braver than me)

and that she loves old books, which puts her right up there on my best friends list

but I think what really keeps me coming back is her sense of humor. 

 I hope you will pay her a visit at Preppy Empty Nester and welcome her into this wonderful world of blogging.

  6. My husband isn't a chef, but he cooks for me.

    Katie's bathroom counter has so many pretty containers and items. She must keep her generic stuff like mouthwash hidden.

  9. Thanks for the intro. I'll go over and visit and join in her humor! She is a brave soul showing her bathroom, wish I had room for all that stuff. I have to use one thing, put it away and get another, but I sorta like it, keeps me organized!!
